ifo file: the ifo file includes information such as chapters, subtitle tracks and audio tracks

vob file: the vob file contains the actual video, audio, subtitles and menus

bup file: backup file of the ifo file

Clips: the name used in for Super DVD Creator video and audio material (source files)

Source: It refers to the video and audio files used in Super DVD Creator as material for a VCD/SVCD/DVD.

VCD: Video Compact Disc

SVCD: Super Video Compact Disc

DVD: Digital Versatile Disc


DVD Folder: includes VIDEO_TS and AUDIO-TS folders and VIDEO_TS includes three files(*.IFO/ *.BUP/ *. VOB). So, DVD folder is same as DVD Disc in all traits, only difference is saved in PC hard disk.

Output format: The format when outputting to VCD/SVCD/DVD. In?Super DVD Creator, you can set the output disc in NTSC or PAL format. The resolution of DVD film is720?80(NTSC)or720?76(PAL).

NTSC: Short for National Television System Committee. The NTSC is standard for television defines a composite video signal with a refresh rate of 60 half-frames (interlaced) per second. Each frame contains 525 lines and can contain 16 million different colors.

PAL: Short for Phase Alternating Line, the dominant television standard in Europe. The United States uses a different standard, NTSC Whereas NTSC delivers 525 lines of resolution at 60 half-frames per second, PAL delivers 625 lines at 50 half-frames per second. Many video adapter that enable computer monitor? to be used as television screens support both NTSC and PAL signals.
